The second annual CA Strike-Out Cancer Big Ball games were held on May 26, 2022. Our teachers and staff put forth their best effort to take the win, but in the end, they fell short to the baseball and softball teams. The students defeated the teachers in the first game 3-1. In game two, the baseball team defeated the softball team. Numerous local businesses as well as teachers, staff, family, and friends contributed to make this event the success it was. Although there were basket raffles, 50/50s, and delicious food sold, the main attraction of the evening was a dunk tank featuring Mr. Foote. His efforts helped to raise $100.00 in just over an hour.
During the Class Night ceremony on June 1, 2022, Logan Wormuth and Ellie Higdon were awarded with the first scholarships from the proceeds of this event. #CASTRIKESOUTCANCER
