On Monday, October 17, the Carbondale Area Girls Soccer team honored its three seniors at its annual Senior-Parent Recognition Night ceremony prior to their game versus Forest City. The three seniors honored were captains Madalyn Borders and Audrey Cobb, as well as Ashley Escott.
“I am so thankful for my time with the team and on the field,” said Captain Madalyn Borders. “I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
“It was an honor to work with these three seniors this year,” noted first-year head coach Thomas Mauro. (Coach Mauro was previously the head coach of the boys’ program). “They provide solid leadership to the underclassmen that will have a positive impact on the team in the years to come.”
The Carbondale Area School District congratulates these seniors and wishes them the best of luck in their future endeavors.
