Our next Senior Spotlight is Senior Class Vice-President Emma Monahan. Emma is the daughter of Christine and Martin Monahan. Emma has excelled academically in her time here at CA as a six-year member of Academic Honors, the National Honor Society, and the High Honor Roll. She is a six-year member of Students Council. Additionally, Emma is a member of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), Spanish Club, Science and Technology Club, the Charger Bowling team, and Watershed program. She has also served as a peer mentor as a member of Unified Track and Field and the Future Teachers Club as well as a tutor for the Physics Club. She has also served as an Acolyte at Saint Rose of Lima Parish for eleven years and is employed as a pet sitter and administrative assistant at The Music Manor.
Emma’s favorite CA memory is the Watershed trips during her junior year. Her favorite subject is Science. She enjoys taking trips to the beach, shopping, driving to get coffee, and spending time with friends. She plans to attend Marywood University to earn a degree in Biology with a minor in Forensic Science with the hopes of eventually becoming a Pennsylvania State Trooper specializing in the Forensic Services Unit. The Carbondale Area School District congratulates Emma on her achievements thus far and wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavors.
