Our next Senior Spotlight for the Class of 2024 is Cheerleader Co-Captain Juliette “JuJu” Racht. Juliette is the daughter of James and Marie Racht and has one brother, Zach, a 2019 CA alum. She has been a Charger cheerleader since second grade.
During her time at Carbondale Area, Juliette has maintained high honors and is currently a member of the National Honor Society and Academic Honors. She has participated in many clubs while at Carbondale, including her dedication to PJAS for four years where she has been awarded First Place and Perfect Score at regional levels and First Place at state levels. Juliette has also participated in FBLA where she has placed at regional levels for Banking and Financial Systems. Juliette currently serves as Student Council Vice-President as well as French Club President, FBLA Governor, and Students Against Destructive Decisions secretary while also participating in Student Council, Future Teachers Club as a peer tutor, Mock Trial, Math Club, Yearbook and Photography Club, Library Club, and Science and Technology Club. Juliette is also a member of the Golf team and the Track and Field teams. Juliette is currently employed as a server at McGee’s Tasty Freeze.
Juliette’s favorite CA Memory is the 2023 Turonis Tournament. Her favorite subject is Street Law. After graduation, Juliette plans to attend Fordham University for business and pre-law in the hopes of one day becoming a corporate lawyer.
