On Friday March 16, 2024, 7th and 8th grade students participated in the Mobile Energy Learning Unit (MELU) presented by the American Petroleum Institute.
The MELU features six self-contained stations with curriculum-based, hands-on activities about energy and the technologies and sciences involved with the oil and gas industry. Students were able to get firsthand experience using equipment that is involved in this multi-million-dollar industry as well as examine rocks and other artifacts from the field. We would like to thank the American Petroleum Institute for this wonderful opportunity!
