Our next Senior Spotlight for the Class of 2024 is Kierra Borosky. Kierra is the daughter of Matthew Borosky and the late Rebecca Walsh Borosky and the stepdaughter of Angelica Borosky. She has two sisters, Aubrey (Freshman at CAES) and Brenna (3rd Grader at CAHS), as well as one step-sister, Riley Brennan (Freshman at CAHS). Kierra has excelled in her time here at CAHS as a member of Academic Honors, the National Honor Society, and the Honor Roll. She played Varsity Softball for three years, where she played Shortstop and served as captain. She also played Soccer this past season. Additionally, she is a four-year member of the Spanish Club, where she serves as Secretary and is a two-year member of the Library Club. She has also been a waitress at Elkview Country Club for three years.
Kierra’s favorite subject is Biology. Her favorite CA Memories are winning Homecoming Queen and playing in the Powderpuff games. She enjoys travelling, hanging out with friends, going to the beach, and working out. She plans to attend Lackawanna College to study Diagnostic Medical Sonography. The Carbondale Area School District congratulates Kierra on her achievements thus far and wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavors.
