Our next Senior Spotlight for the Class of 2024 is Salutatorian Kylie Kelly. Kylie is the daughter of Jeff and Susan Kelly. She has two brothers: Aiden (CA Class of 2021) and Brycen (CA Class of 2023). Kylie is a six-year member of Academic Honors, the Honor Roll, and the National Honor Society, where she is a Secretary.
Kylie has been involved in several sports and clubs in her time here at CAHS. She is President of the Future Teachers Club and Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). She is Secretary of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). Additionally, she is a member of Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS), Medical Careers Club, Science and Technology Club, Student Council, Physics Club Peer Tutor, Math Club, Spanish Club, Mock Trial, Yearbook and Photography Club, Library Club, Ski Club, Prom Committee, Student Advisory Committee, and Watershed. She also served as a captain for both the Soccer and Cheerleading teams. She participated in All-American Cheer, Unified Track and Field, and danced at the Carbondale Dance Academy. She is employed at Elkview Country Club and enjoys skiing, surfing, and shopping.
Kylie’s favorite CA memory is cheering at basketball games against Lakeland. Her favorite subject is Biology. She plans to attend the University of Connecticut to study Molecular and Cellular Biology on the Pre-Med track in the goals of becoming a Surgical Oncologist. The Carbondale Area School District congratulates Kylie on her achievements thus far and wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavors.
