Our next Senior Spotlight for the Carbondale Area Class of 2025 is Senior Football Captain Connor Sansky. Connor is the son of Steve Sansky and the stepson of Gerilyn Sansky (Carbondale Area Class of 2002). He has two brothers: Corey Sansky (Kindergartener at CAES) and Ethan Peters. Connor is a four-year Varsity Football player- three years with Riverside and his senior year with CA. He plays Guard on Offense and Middle Linebacker on Defense.
In addition to football, Connor has competed in the Valley Lanes Youth Bowling League for twelve years. He was a Pepsi Youth Bowling State Qualifier, too. He also snowboards. He is also employed at Aventura at Creekside Carbondale Nursing Home. Additionally, Connor is a member of the Honor Roll.
Connor’s favorite subject is History. His favorite CA memory is when the basketball team beat Lakeland at home. He enjoys snowboarding, bowling, hanging out with family and friends, and listening to music. He plans to join the State Police Academy and become a state trooper. The Carbondale Area School District congratulates Connor on his achievements thus far and wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
