Our students had a fantastic showing! Out of 38 students who represented Carbondale Area at the Pennsylvania Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Competition from April 6th to 9th, two students really shined. Matthew Serkosky earned 5th place in Business Law, and Mason Nepa came in strong at 4th in Public Policy and Advocacy. Both Matthew and Mason have now qualified to head to California at the end of June to represent Carbondale and Pennsylvania at the National Leadership Competition! Carbondale Area had a good showing with seven placing in the top 15 of the state. Carbondale Area’s FBLA also placed 10th in the state in for community service hours.
Congratulations to all the students! #CAProud
