The students were very proud of their achievements. “I’m thrilled that I placed first and enjoy being a part of this club,” noted freshman Abigail Wall, who placed first in “Introduction to Business Concepts” in her very first competition.
Sophomore Kylie Kelly, who placed first in “Introduction to Business Procedures,” is looking forward to the state competition. “I’m excited to attend the FBLA state completion this year with my friends and some of my family. Everyone in the club did a great job and worked extremely hard. This club has made amazing accomplishments and I can’t wait to go to the competition in Hershey.”
Juniors Gia Mark and Shauna Durst teamed up to score first in “International Relations.” Mark, who made states as a sophomore but did not make the trip to Hershey due to the pandemic, is excited to go. “After making it to states last year and not being able to go, I am excited to finally get the opportunity this year.”
Durst made a huge improvement from last year to secure a spot in the state competition. “After getting thirteenth place [last year] and getting first this year, it goes to show I can do anything I put my mind to.”
Congratulations to all the students and best of luck in the state competition!
