This year, our drama club took the stage and put on a spectacular performance of “Little Shop of Horrors.” The club performed their show three times, with Dylan Ofner playing the leading role of Seymour and Eliana Connolly taking on the part of damsel in distress Audrey. The show featured some unique tidbits not usually seen in a normal play, such as an extensive amount of puppetry. Songs performed included “Grow for Me,” Call Back in the Morning,” and the very popular “Suddenly, Seymour.” The production centers around a young man named Seymour who is trying to win over the approval of his coworker, Audrey. One day, Seymour finds a venus flytrap plant in a sketchy shop, which he soon finds out only grows if it is fed humans! Seymour goes on a journey of morality as he tries to choose between fame and abiding by the law. The show was beautiful, and our team sends our congratulations on a great performance.
