Carbondale Area Hosts Annual Class Night Ceremony for 2025 Graduates

On Wednesday, June 4, the Carbondale Area seniors gathered as a class to celebrate achievements, reflect on past memories, and await the future. Hong Tran (Valedictorian) led the Pledge of Allegiance. Abigail Wall, Class President, addressed the class with sentimental remarks both before and after the ceremony. Caitlyn Burns (Class Poet-ranked third) recalled past memories and introduced the events for the evening in a poem format that she wrote.

The ceremony started with presentations of Class Gifts and the reading of the Class Will and Prophecy- these were all based on their personalities and interests, as well as inside jokes that the general public probably did not understand. Eliana Connolly and Hannah Mccaffrey read the Class Will, while Eva Balderas and Elvira Marrero predicted the future of the Class of 2025 by discussing their Ten-Year Class Reunion at Sheetz in Carbondale. Aryonna Castaneda, Ian Dzielak, Stephen Ennes, Leila Esgro, Keegan McDonald, Ava Peregrin, Angelica Prieto, and Rylie Toolan presented the gifts.
