On Monday, February 13, the Chargerettes Basketball team held Parent-Senior Recognition Night. Prior to the game, the school district recognized the senior basketball players and the scorekeeper for all of their efforts in their careers and their positive leadership as captains with the program.

“Basketball is not just a game; it’s a bonding moment that makes you and your team work and communicate together,” explained Hailey Peterka. “I am going to miss this a lot.”

“I would like to thank Ashley, Hailey, Julia Murphy, as well as our scorekeeper Julia Gorel for their commitment and dedication to the Chargerettes basketball program over the last several years,” stated Coach Reckless. “I wish them each the best going forward in all of their future endeavors.”

The Carbondale Area School wishes these seniors the best of luck and much success for a prosperous future.
