Members of the Carbondale Area Future Teachers Club participate in many school functions and activities. The club offers weekly peer tutoring before school on Thursday mornings to students of all grade levels in any subject. Additionally, students in the club assist with 7th Grade Orientation, teacher classroom setups in the summer months, and several elementary school events. They also go to the elementary school periodically to teach lessons, and some members complete co-op placements in elementary schools/early learning centers. Several former members have decided to pursue degrees in education. Thank you club members for your service to your school community! #CAProud
