Club Spotlight: Yearbook/Photography Club

Members of the Yearbook/Photography Club have a variety of responsibilities that contribute to district publications. Students not enrolled in the Yearbook/Newspaper course taught by Miss Dombrosky still have an opportunity to work on the school Yearbook in an extracurricular capacity. The major project the seniors in the Yearbook Club take part in is the Class Superlatives, where they develop a poll distributed to the seniors to vote on- for example, “Best Hair” or “Class Couple.”

The Photography Club takes photos at various school events and during Spirit Week- these photos are then used for the Yearbook, Red and Blue News, the school district website/Facebook/X, as well as the Valley Advantage and Tri-County Independent. Additionally, students design banners on Canva that are used for the website as well as social media. Seniors Hannah Mccaffrey and Eliana Connolly have been designing these banners for four years.
