FBLA Officers Named

Ms. Licia Olivetti, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Advisor, has announced club officers for the 2020-2021 school year. All of the officers are seniors.

“I am excited to be named FBLA President,” stated Amelia Muta, a three-time state qualifier. “I hope to help plan virtual events for the club and a fundraiser so we can hopefully go to states again. I was upset about missing it last year and hope we can make it up this year because it is our senior year.”

Secretary Maria Cerra, who has been to the state competition twice, echoed those same sentiments. “I want to get to states again for my senior year. I hope we can still do a fundraiser even though we are virtual at the moment. I hope this can still be a fun experience for my last year given the circumstances. We will make the best of it.”

Carbondale Area has a history of success in FBLA competition and is expected to continue its tradition under the leadership of these new officers and Ms. Olivetti.
