The following Seniors have completed the CMfgA certificate: Ryan Haynes, Ava White, Isaiah Kilmer, and Ian Korner. The Certified Manufacturing Associate (CMfgA) program offered by Lackawanna College is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the manufacturing sector. This program equips students with fundamental manufacturing skills through a series of courses covering key topics such as safety, quality control, machinery operation, and production processes. Upon completion of the program, students receive the CMfgA credential, which verifies their knowledge and skills in manufacturing basics. This certification is particularly valuable for securing initial employment in the manufacturing industry and for advancing within the field. The program is structured to be accessible and practical, aiming to quickly transition students from the classroom to the workplace.
There will be a graduation ceremony in May to recognize all CA Seniors who have completed the program.
