Congratulations to sophomore Kymara McGann, who was selected to be Carbondale Area’s representative for the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Forum. HOBY is a leadership development program for high school students. Founded in 1958 by actor Hugh O’Brian, the forum aims to inspire young people to make a positive difference in their communities. The HOBY Forum provides participants with the opportunity to engage in interactive workshops, meet community leaders, and develop leadership skills. Students learn about leadership, service, and social responsibility, helping them become more effective leaders in their schools and beyond. The program is held at local, regional, and national levels, and encourages participants to apply their newfound knowledge to real-world situations.
Congratulations Kymara- we know you will represent CA well! #CAProud
