Our next Senior Spotlight for the Class of 2025 is Academic Honors and National Honor Society member Alexis “Lulu” Black. Alexis is the daughter of Kristelle Black, a CA Class of 2000 graduate.
Alexis has been involved with several extracurricular activities in her time at CA, including Art Club, Drama Club, Student Council, Math Club, and Library Club. Additionally, she volunteers at the Fallbrook Food Center and various food pantries and food drives. She also assists neighbors in her community. Alexis is employed as a Dietary Aide at the Carbondale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She enjoys painting/drawing, nature walks, journaling, hanging out with friends and family, listening to music, and spending time with her cat, Cookie Crisp.
Alexis’s favorite subjects are Anatomy and English. Her favorite CA memories are Spirit Weeks, Powderpuff games, the Senior Golf Trip, home football games, honors ceremonies, and field trips with Student Council to see Broadway shows. Her future plans are to major in Exercise Science- Pre-Chiropractic at either Bloomsburg University or Commonwealth University with the goal of becoming a Chiropractor.
The Carbondale Area School District congratulates Alexis on her achievements thus far and wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavors.
