Our next Senior Spotlight is Charger Football player Andrew “Drew” Balderas. Andrew is the son of Andrew and Nicole Balderas. He has four younger siblings who attend CA: Eva, Cole, Lukas, and Nora. He plans to join the military after graduation.
Andrew is also a member of the Football, Basketball, and Track & Field teams. He also enjoys weightlifting. He has been a member of Academic Honors since his freshman year. He works at the Carbondale YMCA in the Maintenance Department and previously worked at Elk View Country Club and Defy. His favorite CA memory is Midnight Madness from his sophomore year with Coach Arthur’s enthusiasm in his first year. His favorite subject is Math. He enjoys running, reading, and hanging out with friends. The Carbondale Area School District congratulates Andrew on his achievements thus far and wishes him the best of luck in his future military career.
