Our next Senior Spotlight for the Class of 2025 is Cheerleader Angelica Prieto. Angelica is the daughter of Prissida and Fernando Prieto. She has one brother, Matthew.
Angelica is a six-year member of Academic Honors, the National Honor Society, and Honor Roll. She has balanced her academic achievements with being involved in several extracurricular activities. She is President of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), Vice-President of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and is a member of the French Club, Science and Technology Club, Math Club, Physics Club, Future Teachers Club, Prom Committee, Library Club. She has played on the Chargerettes Soccer Team and competes in Track and Field. She also dances at Dave Ragnacci’s School of Dance and is a life guard at the YMCA and works at Frank’s Place.
Angelica’s favorite subject is Mr. Merieski’s Chemistry class. Her favorite CA memory is FBLA trips to Hershey for the state conference. She enjoys hanging out with her friends, spending time with her brother, and playing the piano. Her future plans are to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology on the Pre-Med Track to become an Anesthesiologist. The Carbondale Area School District congratulates Angelica on her achievements thus far and wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavors.
