Our first Senior Spotlight for the Carbondale Area Class of 2026 is three-sport athlete Aurora “Rory” Esgro. Rory is the daughter of Joseph Esgro and Tiffany Perry. She has two sisters, Leila, a graduate of last year’s class, and Mira.
Rory is a four-year member of the Cheerleading Squad, where she serves as co-captain. She is a six-year Softball Team Member, where she plays Centerfield and serves as a Captain. Currently, she is playing Forward for the Chargerettes Soccer Team as a captain. She is also a member of the Library and Astronomy Clubs. She is also employed as a Hostess at Alexanders’ Family Restaurant.
Rory has excelled academically in her time here at CAHS, as she is a member of Academic Honors, the National Honor Society, and the High Honor Roll. Her favorite CA memories include Friday Night Lights, home Soccer games, Softball games, and Pep Rallies. She enjoys spending time with her loved ones. She plans to attend college to either get a Master’s or a Doctorate Degree in Psychology.
The Carbondale Area School District congratulates Rory on her achievements thus far and wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavors.
