Our next Senior Spotlight for the Class of 2025 is Chargerettes Soccer Captain Eliana Connolly. Eliana is the daughter of Nellie and Shawn Connolly. She has three older siblings who are recent graduates of CA: Bridget Connolly Falbo (2016), Shawn Connolly (2018), and Aniela Connolly (2021).
Eliana involved in several other sports and activities at CA. She is a member of the Track and Field team, Drama Club (where she always stars as one of the main characters), Spanish Club, Yearbook/Photography Club, Future Teachers Club (as a tutor), Math Club, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), and the Science and Technology Club. She is the Aevidum President, Student Council President, Class of 2025 Vice-President, and FBLA Treasurer. She also dances. Eliana has excelled academically in her time here at CA as a six-year member of Academic Honors, the National Honor Society, and the Honor Roll. She is also employed at the Anthracite Center, McGee’s, and Black Box Boutique.
Eliana’s favorite subject is Science. Her favorite CA memory is Mr. Barnett’s birthday speeches. She enjoys dancing and playing soccer. She plans to attend college to become a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) and specialize in Dermatology.
The Carbondale Area School District congratulates Eliana on her achievements thus far and wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavors.
