Our next Senior Spotlight for the Carbondale Area Class of 2026 is Cheerleading Captain Emma Mrakovich.
Emma is the daughter of Jaime Mrakovich, a CA Class of 2005 graduate, and Nicholas Mrakovich, a CA Class of 2002 graduate.
Emma has been an active participant in multiple extracurricular activities throughout her high school career. She is a seven-year member of the Cheerleading team at Carbondale Area High School. She is also a dedicated member of several clubs, including Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and the Library Club (2 years).
Emma attends the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County (CTCLC) and is working toward earning her Cosmetology License.
Emma is also employed at Pinky’s Family Restaurant. She enjoys spending her free time coaching the junior cheerleading team, skiing with friends, and attending concerts with her boyfriend, David Coacci. Her favorite CA memories are the ski trips and Friday Night Lights.
Following graduation, Emma plans to pursue a career as a Dental Hygienist. The Carbondale Area School District congratulates Emma on her achievements thus far and wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavors.
