Senior Spotlight: Margot Matoushek

 

Our next Senior Spotlight is Charger Marching Band Drum Major Margot “Margottron” Matoushek. Margot is the daughter of Dionisia and Kirk Matoushek and has two siblings: Marisa and Mikel Matoushek. Margot is a six-year member of the Charger Marching Band. She served as Secretary her sophomore year and plays the clarinet. She also takes private music lessons at the Scranton Music Academy for the clarinet. Additionally, she is a cashier at Weis Market.

Margot’s favorite subjects are Band, History, English, and Art, and she is on the Honor Roll. She enjoys painting, playing the clarinet, programming, playing badminton, and hanging out with her friends. Her favorite CA memory is playing games on the way home from football games on the bus with the Marching Band, including Ms. McDermott. She plans to attend Marywood University for a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. The Carbondale Area School District congratulates Margot on her achievements thus far and wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavors.
