Our next Senior Spotlight is Future Teachers Club Secretary Natalie “Natty” Skeba. Natalie is the daughter of Stephanie Martin and the stepdaughter of Anthony Martin. She has one brother: Nicholas Cieciorka, a 7th Grader at the high school.
Natalie has excelled academically in her time here at CA as a four-year member of Academic Honors and the National Honor Society. Outside of the classroom, Natalie has served a peer tutor and has assisted in math classes as a member of the Future Teachers Club and Physics Club. She is also a three-year member of the Drama Club, where she played the roles of White Rabbit in “Dorothy Meets Alice,” Hodel in “Fiddler on the Roof,” the Baker’s Wife in “Into the Woods,” and Crystal in “Little Shop of Horrors.” Natalie is also a member of the Library Club, Aevidum Club, Student Council, and Math Club. Her favorite CA memories involve the Drama Club, particularly working with the cast in “Little Shop of Horrors” and learning the dances and spending time with the other Doo-Wop Girls in the play this year. She is employed at Two Brother’s Restaurant and Pizzeria. She enjoys reading, performing/singing, and solving puzzles. She also has an interest in studying dinosaurs.
Natalie’s favorite subject is Math, particularly AP Calculus. She plans to attend Temple University to study Mathematics, with the eventual goal of getting a Doctorate Degree in Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in Education. After this, she would like to become a Professor of Mathematics. The Carbondale Area School District congratulates Natalie on her achievements thus far and wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavors.
