Our next Senior Spotlight for the Carbondale Area Class of 2025 is Salutatorian Abigail “Abby” Wall. Abby is the daughter of Nicole and Robert Wall (both CA Class of 1994). She has a sister, Emily, a 2019 CA graduate, and a brother, Robert, a 2022 CA graduate. She is a six-year member of Academic Honors, the National Honor Society (where she serves as Vice-President), and the High Honor Roll.
Abby balanced her high academic achievements with several extracurricular activities. She was Captain of the Soccer, Basketball, and Cheerleading teams. She is the Senior Class President and is Treasurer of Future Business Leaders of America. She serves as a peer tutor with the Future Teachers Club and is a member of the Math Club, Library Club, Student Council, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), Spanish Club, Prom Committee, Scholastic Bowl Team, Science and Technology Club, and Yearbook/Photography Club. She is also a babysitter.
Abby’s favorite subject is English. Her favorite CA memory is Friday night football games cheering with her best friends. She enjoys shopping, hanging out with her friends, and going on walks. Her future plans are to attend the University of Scranton and major in Communication Sciences and Disorders on the track to become a Speech Language Pathologist. The Carbondale Area School District congratulates Abby on her achievements thus far and wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavors.
