On Thursday January 4th, the first Unified Bocce match of the season was held at Carbondale Area against Western Wayne. During the first game, the Chargers won by a score of 4 to 2. During the second game, the Chargers won by a score of 8 to 1. The first round’s team included Mason Nepa, Zachary Staples, Justin Reilly, and Hayleigh Cambell. The second round’s team included Olivia Lawler, Leonard Demarco, Matt Serkosky, Allie Mandick, and Alan Parry. The team members communicated and worked together to win both matches. The Chargers won the match as they won the first two games in the best-of-three series. The Unified Chargers are back in action again at Mid Valley on January 16 at 4pm where they look to improve on their 1-0 start.
